NY Tax Tables

In the state of New York, all residents are responsible for filing a state income tax return. Shown below are the NY tax tables and rates. Also, any resident living in New York City must pay personal income tax to the city.

The city tax is administered and collected by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for the city.

Every income-earning individual residing in New York City must pay personal income tax. Part-year residents figure their tax based on income and deductions on the days lived in NYC. Most people living outside the city are not subject to NYC personal income tax. The city personal income tax is filed with New York State. NY Tax Tables for Personal Income Tax City and State are available at www.nystax.gov.

All residents of the state of NY are responsible for state income tax.
